Who's up for Adoption in Akron OH

We had a great Pet Expo in Hardesty Park in Akron OH -- despite the storms in the afternoon.  Vera Skender, Marcia Lowe, Tom Gillette and Helen Brown manned our booth (Tom was a surprise addition when he called Vera the night before and was in OH.)  It was great to finally meet Tom face-to-face.  Many of us know each other via the computer.

Rally Across America Bethesda MD

What a fantastic event in Bethesda on Sat. 15 May.  The weather was great -- 74 degrees and a light breeze.  We got to see some of our Rally-to-Rescue friends and enjoyed meeting some new friends.  Some of our rescuers who only knew each other on our e-group actually got to meet each other face-to-face.  Follow the Rally Across America at http://www.rallytorescue.org.   We are hoping to get invited to the Cranberry NJ event on 21 August (even though the weather prospects are hot.)

ProPlan Rally-Across-America

Join us on Saturday May 15th in Bethesda MD for the 2010 kick-off of ProPlan Rally-to-Rescue's Rally-Across-America http://www.rallytorescue.org.  Several rescue organizations that are Rally-to-Rescue Ambassadors will be under the Rally-to-Rescue tents throughout the day.

Hopefully this year will be the success that last year's Strutt Your Mutt.  We had beautiful weather for the event.

Welcome to the American Lhasa Apso Club (ALAC) Rescue

ALAC Rescue is a non-profit 501(3)c organization that helps rescue and rehome Lhasas throughout the United States and Canada.  We are a network of volunteers that provide our time and foster homes to help save as many Lhasa Apsos as possible.

We are always looking for homes for our Lhasas.  Please view our web site http://www.lhasaapsorescue.org to find your next companion.  We are also looking for volunteers that can assist with fostering, transporting, and assessing Lhasas.
