The American Lhasa Apso Club Rescue, a Purina Pro Plan Rally to Rescue Ambassador, has partnered with Old Bedford Village to bring you
Our animal saviors will be available during the event to answer questions about various breeds and animal care. Our list of animal welfare agencies is growing to make this a wonderful event.
During the spring season, many animals are dumped at the shelters across the country for numerous reasons. These living beings only ask to be loved and cared for and in return give the best companionship you will ever know. Please join us for a celebration to find homes for all those that want only to provide unconditional love to a special family who does not care that they are too big, too small, not the right color to match the couch.
Throughout the day, demonstrations on agility/rally will take place in the center of the orchard.
At 3 PM, all will gather by the Village Church for a Blessing of the Animals by Pastor Olie Teeter. Listen for the ringing of the old church bell to ask you to assemble in the Village Square.
Donations of pet food will be accepted for the Bedford County Food Bank; horse food and treats will be accepted to help care for the Old Bedford Village Draft Horses.
